Subject:  lest we be as salt that has lost its savor

Some people have voiced the opinion that it is presumptuous of us at Remnant Saints Inter-Continental Congress to presume to begin establishing a world government of God on earth.

 

I would like to respond to that issue.  I hope you will forgive me for the passion I feel about this.

 

I believe that the history of God's people can be presented in a grand chiasm.  The first shall be last and the last shall be first.

 

The Jews anciently were expecting what amounts to the second coming -- a government of Messiah.  Even to this day, their reading of the scriptures spurs them to see the kingdom of God as a literal kingdom -- a government.  Meanwhile Jesus came to them to present the precursor to a righteous government: the gospel.  They crucified him.

 

Guess what, now Christians are doing the same thing but in reverse.  They are focused on the gospel, and its ability to change the individual, but their commission is to establish a government or society based on the foundation of the gospel.  Instead, they have almost nothing to do with government except to support socialism which is Satan's counterfeit government, based on force rather than freedom.  They are denying and rejecting God politically.

 

Even the awakened Christian patriots who realize that socialism is not the answer, and at least stand forth to oppose that, do not go as far as to present a solution to the world, namely a world government based on freedom, not force.

 

They think that this is something Jesus is going to do when he comes back to kick some butt.

 

Yes, there is some major butt kicking in store, and yes, Christ will be the foundation of the government of God established on earth.

 

What the Christians do not get is that the rise of the beast, their primary protagonist, is a product of their creation because (1) they allow it to get above them and (2) they do not present to the world a viable alternative to counteract the rise of the beast.

 

Some of the most surprising butt-kicking will be of the Christians who were set to be a light to the world and the saviors of men, but who instead hid their light under a bushel, expecting the rapture to sweep them away when things get tough.

 

Not only are things going to get tough for them, but they are going to be spending some serious down time in concentration camps, being tortured and persecuted.  Not because they are Christians so much as because they as Christians did not stand forth with the power of God to oppose this beast and offer to the world a better solution to the question of World Government.

 

Not only do we have a right to go about establishing a government of God on earth based on freedom and righteousness in Christ, but we have a duty to do so; and it has been our gross negligence of that duty that has put us in the bind we are in today.

 

That is my answer to those who would thus criticize us.  Namely, GET YOUR BUTT INTO GEAR OR YOUR BUTT IS GOING TO GET KICKED BY GOD THROUGH THE NEW WORLD ORDER YOU HAVE ALLOWED TO GET ABOVE US.
