Yesterday in a response to Randy
(via Susan), I made the following comment:
"I do not think that we could accomplish the completion of the model Joel outlines without
divine help and guidance, and so it is yet appropriate (1) to expect that members of RSICC meet up
to the definition of 'saint' as we have described, so as to (a) acknowledge the need for the Lord's
guidance in attaining our objecting and (b) already be familiar with the voice of the Lord, so as to
be able to be thus guided; (2) to expect that God will inspire us and guild our deliberations, and
lead us to ideas and people and explanations in accomplishing our task; (3) to anticipate that the
end result of our efforts, through the grace of God, will be the prophesied kingdom/government
spoken of in Daniel 2, built 'without hands,' meaning not by the brawn of man but by the inspiration
of God."
The impression that came to me this morning is that while this is true, it is not going to be a
spiritually glamorous, ever-constant flow of overwhelming revelation that fills the soul with joy
and love and peace, as is sometimes the case when truths are witnessed powerfully from the heavens.
There may be those moments individually at key junctures, but overall it is going to be an arduous
task.
Here is why.
What we produce as a body (RSICC and friends, as representative of the larger patriot saint
community), must be a reflection of the core of our heart of hearts -- our choice -- our decision
from the center of our very being.
God is not one to impose his will on us. We are here on earth as a proving ground for the metal of
our soul, to be refined, to remove the dross, to grow in godliness, as we learn to align our soul
with eternal truths, of which God is the ideal and promoter and defender. It is in that heart of
hearts -- the holy of holies of our being -- that we both meet God and manifest God. And so it must
be from that holy of holies that our decision is made regarding the proper role that government
should play for the protection of the freedom of all mankind.
The cycle of civilization is to rise and to fall, but with each new cycle comes the benefit of the
truths that the previous civilization was able to embrace before succumbing to the forces of
destruction. In other words, though the rise and fall of civilizations may seem to be a matter of
up, followed by down, there is an overall progression of an upward climb, as the children of God are
able to build on the strength of the previous generations, learning both from what they got right as
well as what they got wrong.
We are on the brink of the greatest collapse of society ever to occur on this planet, which will be
followed by the greatest surge forward by the remnant who are preserved.
It is my faith that one of the reasons for this will be because of a conscientious choice on the
part of the remnant to both (1) stand in opposition to Satan's plans to overthrow the freedom of all
lands, nations and countries, and to bring to pass the destruction of all mankind; as well as to (2)
present to the world an alternative to Satan's plan, namely a government that will uphold the
freedom of all lands, nations and countries, and bring to pass the exaltation of all mankind.
In other words, the remnant is proactively choosing and getting in touch with God, not just going
with the flow of the decline of our society, and hoping that God will show up soon to make
everything better.
The remnant realizes that for God to 'show up' we must first 'knock.' Ask and ye shall receive.
We are not just waiting for God to open the door and give to us his ideal government on a silver
platter. We are knocking at the door, asking, with full confidence that God is faithful to reveal
his truths to those who seek, and that we will receive guidance in pulling this together.
At the same time, because the delusion that our society has chosen is so strong in the world about
us, our task is made more difficult. We don't just face the requirement of asking and receiving,
which under usual circumstances is designed to be somewhat challenging. We also face the task of
breaking through the fog of strong delusion, which makes the recognition of truth all the more
exacting.
It is in that context of keen difficulty, that our souls will be tried to the core -- to the heart
of hearts -- to the holy of holies, where we must make our choice, and where we will meet God, and
from whence God will be manifest.
As I see it, RSICC and its friends, as a body, will serve this role of going to the holy of holies
when it comes to choosing the proper role of government, as representatives on earth for the desires
of the entire planet -- at least that remnant that is going to survive the coming calamities, which
the book of Joel calls 'the valley of decision.'
May we choose wisely. It is not going to be easy.
Sincerely,
Sterling D. Allan
