-----

I would like to make a motion that CentrExNews.com be awarded the official top daily news source for Remnant Saints Inter-Continental Congress.

The site administrator, HJ Springer, is an active honorary member of RSICC, and is in charge of the RSSA (Remnant Saints Special Alerts) news service to which we all are subscribed as guild members.

I have been aware of CentrExNews.com for quite some time (one or two years), and have always been impressed with the caliber of material there, covering both the current news as well as commentary that major news media would never touch.

WorldNetDaily also does a slam-up job. However, the reason I prefer CentrExNews.com over WND is because CentrExNews has more of a prophetic outlook and is willing to push the envelope further than WND does. Centrex News draws much of its material from WorldNetDaily, and does not do any original reporting that I know of. But it's the compilation that makes it so valuable. Centrex News also presents a knock-out selection of related news websites. I've never seen anything that comes even close in comparison so far as lay-out and quality of content.

WorldNetDaily would never (has never) linked to anything I have written at GreaterThings.com or PatriotSaints.com, but CentrExNews.com has a perpetual link to Greater Things News Service (http://www.greaterthings.com/News/) and they have linked to exclusive commentaries on occasion. This, in my opinion (biased of course) illustrates well the difference between CentrExNews and WorldNetDaily.

WorldNetDaily is one step ahead of the mainstream press. CentrExNews is two steps ahead.

I have a quote on my website that says, "He who is one step ahead is a genius. He who is two steps ahead is a crack pot." WorldNetDaily has their place, and they do it well. But for our purposes, we seek something more brave than one step ahead of the mainstream press. We need to honor those who are courageous enough to be two steps ahead.

I would like to let this motion sit for at least a week, to give those of you who are not yet familiar with CentrExNews.com a chance to check it out, so when we bring it to a vote you can cast an informed vote on the matter.

If any of you believe there is a daily news source even better than CentrExNews.com, please make your case.

Whether or not we end up selecting CentrExNews.com, I would recommend a subscription to the daily news bulletin. It gives the headlines from each day's news and commentary, with a link to the site.

It would be good to present a second daily news choice as well.  I nominate HJ to suggest a runner up, since he is more involved in the news world.

Sterling D. Allan
