========BEGIN VOTE========
The following rule shall be added to RSICC bylaws.
<==quote==>
"Once a decision is made by the guild, we need to honor it or
amend/overturn it through established procedures. One of the rules set forth by the guild is that
amendments to established decisions will require a supermajority to carry. So unless a person has
new reasons or fresh arguments that were not considered at the time the initial vote was taken, a
call to overturn or amend a vote would be inappropriate. The person considering such a move is under
obligation to first become familiar with the arguments that were presented prior to the time the
original vote was taken. The time to present one's case of opposition is when a motion is being
considered. But outside of these conditions, once the motion has been voted on, insubordination is
destructive to guild unity; and severe instances can be grounds for dismissal from RSICC membership.
This is not intended to dissuade friendly criticism, but rather its purpose is to thwart sabotage,
well-intended or not. Any dismissals will require a vote of the guild."
